The Panoramic Hills of Florence: Food, Wine and Instagrammable Places

After you have taken a few pictures, we will continue to San Miniato to enjoy one of the most famous panoramas portrayed in many movies and TV series.

The next stop is a light Italian breakfast. Drink a real cappuccino or espresso coffee on a terrace while admiring Brunelleschi’s Cupola from afar: the architectural marvel is the most important landmark of the city and it makes it recognizable from everywhere you look! 

About twenty minutes later, you will arrive at your lunch destination on the Chianti Rufina hills. Green is the dominant color here, while vineyards surround the restaurant. It is time to try some local products such as prosciutto, cheese, pasta and a good glass of wine.

After about 1,5h it is time to move on to the next adventure: an ancient medieval castle that is also a renowned winery. Explore its rooms and indulge in a remarkable wine tasting experience.

Once you get done with the shopping, it is time to hit the panoramic road back to Florence. You will be able to admire its gentle hills a little bit longer and take some great pictures from an organic farm above the Ethrurian village of Fiesole. The winding road offers pleasure for the eye and heart, until you arrive at your last stop: a romantic terrace overlooking the city of Florence.
