Discovering Milan’s Navigli and its secret places

Tour Description.

Enjoy a 2-hour and 30-minute walking tour starting from the Basilica of San Lorenzo, Milan. Walk down Corso di Porta Ticinese and visit the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio, one of the oldest churches in Milan, with its magnificent frescoes inside the Portinari Chapel.

Continue to the Navigli district, a system of canals connecting the city to Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, the Po River, and Switzerland, and discover the system of dams invented by Leonardo da Vinci.

Visit Milan’s Darsena, a beautiful corner of the city renovated in recent years. It ends the tour in the traditional houses in Milan, referred to as the “railing house.” Listen to the guide as he tells you the history of this area of Milan.

  • SUMMER Hours (April 1 to October 31): 3:00 pm

  • WINTER hours (November 1 to March 31): 2:00 p.m.

  • Appropriate clothing is required to enter especially religious places. No shorts or tops are allowed; knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both sexes. You may risk not entering these places if the dress code is not followed.

  • Clients should arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the start time of the visit.
