DAY 1

During a walk through the village, among the pink stone walls and along the paths leading down from the Town Hall Square, you will be surrounded by the ancient presence of vegetable gardens and domesticated vines. Inside the convent of Santa Chiara you will find Sagrantino vines that are several centuries old.
Learn about local grape production and taste some of the region’s best wines.
Enjoy lunch at a typical Umbrian trattoria, where you’ll sample fresh, homemade local dishes washed down with a bold Sagrantino wine.
- 2 PM SPELLO
Visit the fortified medieval town of Spello, the church of Santa Maria Maggiore and its frescoes.
Free time to walk around this small but unique village, ranked among the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.”
- 4:30 PM NORCIA
Explore this gem located in the foothills of the Sibillini Mountains, famous for its black truffles, prime meat and for being the birthplace of St. Benedict.
Taste its local products during a 2-hour food tour with a local tour guide.
Spend the evening and night off in Norcia to stroll the medieval center and try the many local restaurants.

- 8 AM DEPARTURE – Norcia
- 10:00 Stroll the medieval streets of this hilltop town founded in 2700 B.C. and enjoy breathtaking views of the Umbrian countryside.
Visit the 12th-century Gothic Cathedral and the Captain’s Palace, with its impressive arched staircase connecting it to the People’s Palace.
Enjoy a typical Umbrian lunch at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Umbrian Valley.
- 2: 30 PM ORVIETO
Visit this magical city built on top of a hill made of volcanic stone.
Enter its majestic Cathedral, admire the beautiful Gothic facade and the splendid frescoes in the Chapel.
Leave town to travel to the 125-year-old Le Velette estate for wine tasting and a tour of the vineyards.
