If you wish to have a faithful understanding of the Chianti region, this is the tour you are looking for!
The Chianti region is renowned worldwide for its valuable ruby-red blends and unique hillside. Sangiovese is the most planted vine in Italy and on this journey, you will learn how to recognize and appreciate it properly.
Our first stop will be in the heart of the Chianti area, which is called “Chianti Classico”, where you will visit a local boutique winery that produces a selection of Chianti and delicious olive oil. You will be welcomed by a member of the family that will carefully guide you through the vineyard, cellar and to the tasting where you can try different vintages of Chianti classico, Vinsanto, Grappa, and some fresh local deliciousness to eat with.
We’ll continue going in the direction of “Chienti Classico,” touring across the spectacular Chianti landscape. You are more than welcome to ask our driver to stop for a few pictures at your favorite spot!
Here, you’ll be welcomed by the family that will show their cellar and let you seat at the amazing terrace, looking all over the vineyard. Here you’ll have an amazing lunch home cooked paired with their wines, an amazing experience of tasting of a typical local meal and local wines, learning the differences on pair food and wines.
After the meal and a bit of free time for yourself we will bring you back to Lucca relaxed and full of delicious memories!
