MANN (National Archaeological Museum of Naples) Tour

Tour Description.

Choose your preferred time to visit the Museum and meet our professional tour guide directly at the main entrance.
After an introduction to the building-a former cavalry barracks-you’ll go to the mosaic collection on the second floor to discover one of the most famous pieces: the Alexander mosaic, a huge depiction of the battle between Alexander the Great and Darius III of Persia.
On the ground floor you will discover the Farnese Collection and its magnificent marbles, particularly the Farnese Hercules and the Farnese Bull were both originally housed in the Baths of Caracalla and are among the most impressive you will encounter.
Don’t miss the bronzes from the Villa of the Papyri, and if you are lucky enough to find the sections open, the Secret Cabinet – which houses erotic and sexual objects – and the Egyption Collection are definitely worth a visit!
