AROMA (an Aromatic Walk in the Eternal City)

Let them show you the Eternal City by jumping from the best ricotta pie in the Jewish Quarter to the most incredible Roman crispy pizza in one of the city’s authentic “bakeries.” Enjoy Rome through smells, tastes and textures all surrounded by the world’s largest open-air museum!

This 3-hour experience begins in the heart of the Jewish quarter, known as the “ghetto.” The meeting point of the tour is in front of the famous Portico d’Ottavia where you will meet your guide and get to know the rest of the group.

The day will begin on a sweet note, having breakfast at one of the oldest bakeries in the surrounding area. After a walk around the Ghetto the tour will continue to Campo De’Fiori Square.

As you walk you will encounter the second stop of the day to pick up and taste the famous Roman “Pizza al taglio” and be amazed by the simplicity of the incredible flavors of their famous “red pizza.”

Arriving in Campo De’Fiori Square we will show you an old Roman butcher shop, well known by locals to buy meat and eggs and a secret place not to be missed!

From the Piazza it will be time to make your way to Trastevere, the heart of Rome’s gastronomic scene, as you let yourself be enchanted by the narrow streets, are you ready to taste the king of Roman street food? the supplì! A fried and cooked rice ball with tasty tomato sauce with a heart of mozzarella cheese: heaven!

The tour will then end in Trastevere with a refreshing aperitivo (yes, in Italy it is okay to have an aperitivo before lunch!) with local wine, cold cuts and cheeses. A beautiful goodbye!
