The Place was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997, it was the official residence of the House of Savoy.
Among the most fascinating rooms are the grand Salon of the Swiss, the Throne Room, the Coffee Room, the Alcove Room of Carlo Emanuele II, the 19th century Ballroom, one of the most sumptuous rooms in the palace, and finally the magnificent Scissors Staircase by Filippo Juvarra (1720).
You can also visit the Armoury, which currently has more than 5,000 objects ranging from Prehistory to the beginning of the twentieth century, among which one of the most important nuclei is the sixteenth century weapons and armor.
You will be impressed by the Chapel of the Shroud, looking upwards, you will be able to admire the carved star that lets you see through its compartments another time on which is painted the Holy Spirit in glory.
